Billy Horschel

Professional Golfer. 2014 FedExCup Champion. Family Man. Philanthropist.
These are just a few of the titles Billy has earned throughout his golf career. As someone known with a lively personality, vibrant style, sharp focus, and a big heart, Billy is the All-American golfer.

On the Course

Before turning professional in 2009, Billy made appearances on the U.S. National Team for the Walker Cup in 2007 and Palmer Cup in 2007 and 2008. Billy achieved great success in 2013 with eight Top 10 finishes, placing 3rd at the Valero Texas Open, 2nd at the Shell Houston Open, and 1st at the Zurich Classic. Not resting on his laurels, Billy worked harder than ever in the 2014 season. He accomplished eight additional Top 10 finishes, placing 3rd at the Wendy’s 3- Tour Challenge, 2nd at the Deutsch Bank Championship, 1st at the BMW Championship and 1st at the Tour Championship presented by Coca-Cola. These victories led to his crowning moment as the 2014 FedEx Cup Champion. Billy placed 2nd at The RSM Classic, T3 at the Franklin Templeton Shootout and T4 at the Honda Classic in the 2016-2017 season. More recently, Billy secured his first victory of the 2017-18 season at the AT&T Byron Nelson.

Personal Life

While golf is Billy’s passion, his proudest accomplishment is graduating from the University of Florida, home of the chomping gators. Additionally, Billy has always valued his family. He resides in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida with his wife Brittany. They welcomed a beautiful daughter, Skylar, into the world just hours after Billy was named the 2014 FedEx Champion, and in April 2017 welcomed their second daughter, Colbie into their family.

Giving Back

Billy’s humble beginnings motivate him to give back to the community whenever he can. He is passionate about supporting the United States military, Feeding Northeast Florida and other causes that are close to his heart. Billy and Brittany are proud to have hosted their first junior golf tournament, the AJGA Billy Horschel Junior Championship in the fall of 2017. Proceeds will support Billy’s personal philanthropic endeavors as well as the AJGA ACE grant.
